Grimmett Family Pics

So the shower is over! It was perfect, I barely survived! If it weren't for Haliee & Karlene, I wouldn't have! Last night I started feeling crummy a sore throat & headache, hmm...maybe 3 - 4 hours of sleep a night isn't enough! Anyway, I crashed about 10:30 and didn't wake up until 1 pm this afternoon! Can you believe that?!? I have never in my life done that. I am still sick, but it was so worth it!

Last Thursday I took the Grimmets down to the lake after school for a maternity photo shoot. I needed some pics for the shower so we ran down there really quick. Haliee was at volleyball practice so Drew was my assistant! He did an awesome job at making the babies laugh. Didn't they turn out just perfect! I LOVE them! I edited them in Color, B&W, & Sepia and used sepia for the shower since it was the most woodsy! Here are some of my favorites, aren't they precious? LOVE MY GRIMMETTS!

I can't believe in 5 more weeks there will be a Baby Brodie Man in these pics!

I'll post the shower next week, I have mad pics to go through, but since I slept all day, lol, I have a ferocious mess waiting for me & some bow orders to get out tomorrow! I can't wait to share, it was so beautiful!

Kids Say...

So Hal loved this so much he is making me post it so we never forget!

Last night Haliee asked Hal if he knew how to do her Math Homework {She was testing his abilities} He gave her the correct answer but how he came about that answer was not how her teacher makes them figure it out so she told him he was only 1/2 correct...Which led to a brain contest of course! Our family is so competitive...So different questions...trivias...word problems... etc...Lastly, Hal asks Haliee...

Hal: "Ok Bobo, Who is the Queen of England?"
Haliee: Silence...Ummm...."Queen Latifah"

BAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Me: Um...no Sis, she's a Rapper/Actress.

LOLOL! LOVE THE 4.0 TEENAGERS WHO CAN'T ANSWER SIMPLE HISTORY QUESTIONS...but can create amazing in depth power point presentations and algebra is a breeze :)

Happy Friday!

All Consuming!

Sorry I have tons to blog about, but every minute I am not bowing, cooking, cleaning, or taxiing...I am working on this...
I am throwing Erin a shower in a little over a week & I am being over the top crafty OCD! I have been working on it nonstop & have enlisted the help of my sweet husband and friend Karlene my most craftiest colleagues! :) I want to share everything so so so badly, but I am not letting Erin in on anything except the invites! {WHICH DRIVES HER CRAZY!} Since she reads this blog, I will have to wait & post all the ridiculously over the top details until after the shower! :) Haliee & Drew are egging her on by telling her repeatedly they know everything & how cute it is hee hee! I'll be back soon with some new posts! HUGS Tab

1st Day of School 2010

*SNIFF* How bittersweet this is to see my babies growing up! Aren't they so perfect! I just LOVE their little baby guts out!

7th Grade
Man what a difference a year makes...I can't believe my little girl is in the 7th grade. Where does the time go? Haliee is super excited she is not a little 6th grader anymore :) She gets to play Volleyball & she is a TA for her favorite homeroom teacher (Mr. Drake) from last year! {You know the one who receives fun silly string & ding dong ditch visits from our family} She has definitely grown up alot this past year but continues to amaze me with her maturity, choices, & all around sweetness! She has such integrity, kindness, makes good choices, is loving, caring, helpful. She is such a little Mommy to her baby brother {who always appreciates it right!}, and out Grimmett babes! She wishes she lived closer to all her nieces & nephews so she could have one on her hip at all times~ She is so turning into a teenager, loud music, texting, shopping, long stints in the bathroom to go anywhere! Can you say paybacks?!?! I am so very proud to be her Mommy! This is also the 1st year I haven't walked my princess into her classroom *double*sniff*
4th Grade
My baby boy is a 4th grader :( WAHHHHH! Look at him all big & tall. It was so cute when we walked into the classroom everyone was yelling "Drew" "Drew" :) This is the 1st year he won't have a cookie cutter teacher from his Sister :( Her 4th grade teacher who I LOVED moved to Pocatello so her husband could finish his Master's. Drew knew of Mrs. Sozzoni from recess saying she was nice! We are so excited he has her. She was sweet this morning despite the crazy 1st day chaos! I am excited to get to know her. She is super cute too, Isn't she?! Drewy is really turning into a little man. Adoring all things sports, he never misses even an inning of the Mariners Games! He loves playing all sports especially baseball and pitches every.single.day. rain or shine until I make him come in the house! He watches all sports on TV as well. His favorite teams are the Mariners, the Chargers, and Boise State Broncos! He watches Golf, Basketball, College Basketball, & Hockey too! Oh is he 100% boy. He is a sensitive lil' guy too. He LOVES animals and is so patient & nurturing to our Grimmett Girls! He is anxiously awaiting Baby Brodie Grimmett for another Boy though! I am so proud to be his Mommy!

Movie Night 2010

Last night we hosted another movie night! It was super fun except it was a lil' chilly like in the 50's chilly! BRRRRR...! There were kids everywhere! They LOVED the homemade root beer & we even made Cream Soda because Mikey wanted it & whatever the Grimmet's want, Pabba gives them lol! I can't believe I forgot to take a pic of the soda brewing...people were trying to watch the movie so I didn't want to bug them too much with my flash! I got some "Oh heck, Tab's gotta blog about it" Grumbles *wink* I lightened the pics so you could see everyone!

Even Sophie was getting super excited before it started. She kept saying it needs to get dark so Hal tan make our movie on the garage & we tan have poptorn & root beer floats (we just had root beer) Tuz they are "DALICIOUS" Love that Sophie girl!
The kids LOVE making air popcorn! It is such a treat :0) Haliee even came down mid way through getting ready to help fill the bags! Even teenagers love Movie Night haha!

They made 50 bags worth!

Haliee will likely kill me for this, but...isn't her sign cute!

I'm so thankful for a super crafty OCD Husband like me! :) Love this guy!
