Drew's 1/2 time game at Lake City High School!

WOW, I am a slacker, lol! It seems like this was ages ago. Ok, let's see what I can catch up on before church this morning!! :0)
Drew's little football league played a mini game during the high school football games 1/2 time a few weeks ago! It was so cute! They looked so so little on that field! They split the field in 2 as they only play 50 yd. games. He was so excited & felt so big boy! I only cried a little when they all lined up and took the field. Ok, and when they slapped hands with the actual high school players as they exited the field. It was so so cute! The next week they had an awards ceremony (well sort of) at Pizza Factory. They had just 1 big party with 100+ boys and their families it was CHAOS! I couldn't get out of there fast enough!! So, needless to say, I didn't get any pics of him receiving his trophy because they were calling out names as fast as they could, it was ridiculously manic. NOT MY STRONG SUIT! I need organization! :0) I will add a pic of the trophy in a bit my camera batteries are charging, lol.

Oh...I also need to point out HAL took ALL the pics on the field, lol, so no blaming me for the blurry pics, hee hee hee! LOVE my Man! :0)

The peanut Gallery!!!

The big boys!

Haliee spending that hard earned cash of hers & Nat feeding her face!

The girls thinking they were BIG stuff! Too cool to be sitting on the bleachers *sigh* My parents are loving these moments of payback! :0)
Drew waiting IMPATIENTLY dying for it to be his turn on the big field!!!
Lining up to take the field

And...finally...the BIG Game! :0) We did win by the way :0)

My precious babies!!!

Haliee & Drew are so close, they amaze me! They have always been super close and as they get older, I try to condition myself to the fact this may not always be so. They are almost twin like, always thinking of one another, never wanting the other to be away. I LOVE it. I really hope it never changes....

When Haliee went to trail creek, Drew bawled because she wouldn't be home that night. Haliee made this sweet little note for him and taped it to his bar stool so when he woke up to eat breakfast before school he would find it! What a sweetie.
Then a few days later Haliee was sick. She felt like yuck and came home from school early. Drew was so worried about her, convinced it was Swine flu, lol. He made her this sweet little card when he got home from school.
I LOVE these babies! :0) I am so blessed.

The Simple Woman Daypost....

I found this on one of the blogs I follow and thought it would be neat. I am entirely too busy. Much busier than any individual should be. It reminded me to slow down, I am inspired to make some time for me and the things I dearly love but continually put off. We shall see how successful I am in changing this...

FOR TODAY...From Tabitha's Journal...

Outside my window... Frost & fog with a glimmer of sun, proof we should still be in bed until it warms up :0)

I am thinking... I have so much to do today, I hope to accomplish 1/2

I am thankful for... A husband, my children, great family & friends

From the kitchen... Yummy chili verde enchiladas and rice from the leftover rotisserie I made last night...maybe apple pie per Haliee's request.

I am wearing... Sweats and a tank top, what else is new, poor Hal!

I am creating... new bows for fall, xmas, m2mg, & crazy8!

I am going... to drop Drew off at school, clean my house, catch up on laundry, finish bows, couponing, hopefully catch up on blogging!

I am reading... nothing, I have no time

I am hoping... for some down time with my family

I am hearing... my son playing instead of getting ready for school because his Mommy is on the computer ;0)

Around the house... are a million little messes "It's MONDAY"

One of my favorite things... the sound of my family~ laughing, playing, making memories

A few plans for the rest of the week: preparing for & watching my son's Abraham Lincoln presentation in the Veteran's Day Program, family movie night, finishing bows, a clean house, no dirty laundry (ha), catching up my blog, some much needed downtime.

From my picture journal...
I wish more times in life were like this. Sweet serenity, irreplaceable family time. My favorite's...

Booing...

We just got back from booing some of the kids friends. It is so fun! For those of you who aren't familar with this tradition, you make goodie bags complete with a sign that says, "I've been Booed" and ding song ditch it on a friends front porch. It is fun no matter what, but extra fun when this kids are chased into the car and down the street, lol! I will take pics of the loot before we go again next week! :0)

Ready or Not...

My baby girl is growing up! She left this morning for Trail Creek. An overnight camp out for the 6th grade class! Can you believe my baby is old enough to go ANYWHERE overnight without her MOMMY???? She is soo excited & a little nervous. They are going to have so much fun! She was cracking me up asking her teacher if there would be outlets for her flat iron & cell phone charger, lol! Gotta love the mini me in that sweet girl! All the teachers were making fun of me this morning when I helped her carry in all her stuff. We were supposed to bring a snack to share as well as an ingredient for them to mix in a big trail mix. I brought 2 snacks of course, but...when we got there, the snacks looked barren to me (well by my standards) so I offered to return home to "my mini mart" for a few more things. They were like, it's fine, more will trickle in. Well...how do they know? I mean there are tons of kids going, I told Haliee to text me if they needed more (with teacher permission of course) and they all burst out laughing. HELLO! My kid needs to eat! *sigh* RELINQUISH the CONTROL Tabitha...I'm TRYING! LOL. It's been on my mind all morning~! She took her camera so I will post her pics when she returns!

Coming soon....

Pizza Party!

Phew, I am trying to catch my blog up to my life, but....it is hard, lol! Are you sick of me yet? Friday night Drew's league played at the High School Football Game during 1/2 time, it was sooo cute. I will post pics in a few, but...before we went I had promised all the kids we'd make pizza. It was a blast, but crazy trying to get all the dough risen & staggering the baking in time to get to the game. I need 2 ovens!!! Why do I do this to myself every time??? These babies are the reason...LOVE their smiles and making memories! Sophie really loves to use the mixer and eat the flour we lay down to roll out the dough YUCK! Zoe & Soph were so funny taking turns measuring out everything for the dough & the sauce. I never thought it would take me 10 minutes to measure out a few cups of flour, etc. But...Sophie knew when it was her turn, lol, we couldn't sneak in a few tablespoons of anything without her realizing Zoe had gotten 2 turns in a row, ha! LOVE 2 year olds! It was priceless though!

Sophie showing me how to balance a spoon in between your toes, lol.

The Pumpkin Patch!

There is a really cool area here called Green Bluff where all the farmers grow pumpkins, apples etc. and are open to the public. There are several different farms from simple to extravagant. The kids LOVE to go to the Pumpkin Patch. They have hay rides, large and small corn mazes, stores, inflatable slides, trains, you name it! The largest farm has almost a fair going on. Several vendors, even funnel cakes, and food booths. Crazy! We went to 2 different farms this year & had alot of fun. We of course had Zoe with us, Haliee's friend Nat also went along with one of Jeni's friends.

We started at a smaller farm where they have several different little cutouts to take pics, a small Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Corn Maze, Hay Rides, Old Cabins, a Store, Apple Picking, & A Pumpkin Patch.
The Great Pumpkin "Patch"
Drew had to show me the rotten pumpkin, yum!
The other stop we made was to Siemer's Farm. This one is the nicest one of all. It is over the top fun for the kids. Very organized for me! They have a cool Castle Corn Maze. It even has a watchtower with "guards" looking over all the kids to keep them in line! I didn't go in, I then regretted it when I realized I wouldn't be able to snap pics the entire way! WAHHHH! They said inside you go around the corner and they have a zoo amidst the maze with actual taxidermy animals in them. Freaked them out when they turned a corner to find a tiger awaiting them, lol! They have a pirate ship play structure at the end. Super cute! They have 2 different train rides 1 for small kiddos and then 1 for everyone. They have a HUGE inflatable slide. Of course they dug that! They have several vendors and items for sale. They also have a cute little log cabin the kids can play in, they loved it! Haliee was a mess making sure her hair was flat ironed Sunglasses, patent leather vest, & pink uggs are completely necessary for the pumpkin patch right? *sigh* The mini me is coming ready or not, ha!
