I just got home from running errands, you know, car tags, groceries, ribbon...necessities, not fun, and what do I have waiting for me on the screen of my PC...but this. What a stinker! I LOVE this goofy girl of mine! ;) I don't think you can read the fine print on the right, but under the purse it says: Featured Story~ "There is never a bargain I can't find". And...under the calculator it says: Do You Know~ "I'm a real bargain shopper"

A Movie Night "Garage Style"
Hal has been wanting to do this for awhile and I have been saying, next week, I am too busy, blah, blah...for awhile now, so being the manager he is, he kindly (executively) made the decision to do it last night.
Haliee made little flyers for some friends and a few neighbors. Hal took the projector out of the media room and set it up on the driveway. We popped popcorn and made little bags, we made some home made rootbeer and rented Hotels for Dogs.
The kids had a blast. It was really fun! I am glad my man is tech savvy, lol. It was nice to have the summer air around us like old time drive inn days to which my kids no nothing of lol. Everyone just laid all over and laughed and talked and enjoyed the movie! They spilled root beer a million times and it didn't even matter, it was the driveway! This will definitely be a Summer tradition now! We'll have to get a few move nights in before it cools down too much!
Here are a few pics, I tried to take some without the flash, but it didn't work out too well. When I uploaded it, it was totally black, LOL! There were a ton of people all over the lawn, driveway, sidewalk, too fun! It was hard to get pics of everyone as I was getting the look everytime my camera flashed when they were trying to watch the movie! The movie came out perfect & it was totally clear and awesome! Thanks Daddy for being so awesome and giving our kiddos tons of great memories! :0)
Papa Ken & Ola are coming over today to treat us to a day of roller coaster and water park fun at Silverwood since our boat is still in the shop fixing those dang windows, I hope it is finished soon so we can get out on the lake . We are so lucky to have such great family and friends. I am blessed! I will try and remember my dang camera this time since I spaced it on the flight to Boise!
Busy Summer Days!
Whew, we have been running like crazy! Last week the kiddos and I snuck off to Boise for some r&r at Grandma and Grandpas (well in theory) Hal had inventory :( So he had to stay home and be the responsible one who pays our bills! Poor Hal! My Sister was having a Luau Wedding Reception and some more of our long lost family members were coming, so yay! It was another mini reunion! My cousin Beki and her boys drove from San Diego to Salt Lake and then up to Boise! It was so fun to see her!
We went camping too and Grandpa had the kids dredging and panning for gold. They had so much fun and brought home some gold and even some Garnets! Drew was totally into it. Grandpa also took them for a ride in the hot rod and down to the shop to show them how they build/finish the cars. They were in LOVE!
Grandma and I did a little shopping and of course some cooking! We made some yummy homemade fried pies which I hadn't done in years, too much fun!
We watched movies, the kids lived in the pool and spa and on the trampoline. My brother continually whipped me at Wii everything grrrrrr........One of these days, I will prevail! I did however beat everyone at the Wii Bowling Pin Challenge! LOL, I know, I am a dork, but I never win at anything unless it is a board game, lol, so YAY!
All in all it was a great time. The kids and I passed around the stomach flu, which was not too fun, figures, when we were on a mini vacation. I always love going to Boise.

What a fun weekend!
I had such a great weekend! I have to get myself in gear today and clean, laundry, work, blah...but this weekend, was all about fun!
First Hal and I dropped off the kids with Papa Ken (My Mom is in Reno for a week with some friends) & headed to dinner at the Davenport YUM! The best chicken I have ever eaten seriously! It was stuffed with mushrooms, prosciutto, and Gruyere then had a crispy crust and was encircled with truffle oil and a amazing cheese sauce. HEAVEN! Perfect ambiance as the Davenport is always sure to deliver and what better company than my sweet husband Halarini right!! :0) You can check out the Davenport here. it is AMAZING if you have never read about it here before, you have to check it out, it is my favoritest place to splurge! Hal took me here a few years ago for a surprise 10th anniversary stay away and I was thoroughly pampered. Since then, we sneak over here for a bite to eat as often as we are able to.
Next, we went to the Fray Concert. IT WAS AMAZING! A new band named Vedera and Jack's Mannequin opened for them and it was the most hysterical concert I have ever been to. It was their last stop of the tour so they were all pranking each other...From duck taping everything together, to coming in mid song and unplugging/taking instruments as they tried to remain playing, to super soakers and flour bring thrown all over them...finally when The Fray opened, there was a strip of screen on top of the stage that the people on stage could not see and there were instructions on there for us to "prank" them. So at different parts of the show, the whole audience in unison would do things like turn and have your back to them, stand straight with arms up, then jazz hands, at one point the lead singer stopped singing because he was so perplexed and laughing. The only thing I say is...I AM OLD, I was so annoyed everytime people would stand and scream, lol. I was like, can't we all just sit here quietly and enjoy the show. :0) All in all it was perfect. We had awesome seats and it was a fab concert! I also learned the guitarist's Grandmother and 1 of his parents was raised in Spokane! I had no idea! Very cool.
After the concert we went to Kohl's lol, at 11:30 pm to shop as they were open til' midnight for power hours and we had a ton of combineable coupons! I spent $235 and saved $549 WOOHOO! I got some new stuff with my bday $ from my Momma and got the kids some of the things they had asked for for school. I also got the perfect pull up bar so we can start P90-X today is day 90 (I am scared, lol) and a fun counter pitcher (like what restaurants have for their iced tea or lemonade) with a spout for our homemade soda pop! It was so weird and fun to shop that late, there was noone else there!
The next morning we just hung out, Papa Ken took the kiddos out to breakfast and then came over. We all decided to play frisbee golf at this cool park called "Cherry Hill" They have a frisbee golf course, tennis courts, an awesome park dedicated to 9-11 all the toys are police cars, fire engines, etc. , they also have a BMX Track and hold races there as well as sledding hills in the winter too fun! Anyway, this course is HARD! It has tons of huge pine trees, you go up and down big hills, and after 14 holes, the kids and I said you men finish, we shall be at the park, lolol!

Afterwards, we made rootbeer and then Papa Ken took us out to "The Porch" for dinner. YUM! It is our favorite local restaurant for awesome food and very reasonable! I talked the Men into getting 2 of the specials so I could still get my fav. but try both of the specials, I know, I am a BRAT! :0) On the way home we rented "Race to Witch Mountain" and I happened to WIN a BET with Papa Ken as he bet me it was "Escape to Witch Mountain" HA! I LOVE TO BE RIGHT! :0) Hee, hee! We all watched it in the media room and it was pretty cute.
The next morning, I made breakfast and the Grimmet Girls joined us before we headed off to church! :) Church was great, next the Men including Drewy went to play golf and us girlies made the dessert and then headed off to Honeysuckle Beach. We had a yummy dinner and then ended up in a double dutch competition, lol! I had to go get Erin next door as we are all so competitive! I WON I WON, LA LA LA! LOL! It was fun, let me tell you it is harder at 31 than 13 by a LONG SHOT!
Such a fun family filled weekend! I Love fun family times! Sweet Memories... :0) How was your weekend????

My Princess Haliee...
Man this girl never ceases to amaze me! I am so proud of her everyday. What a sweet young lady she is growing into. Every Sunday the kids take turns putting the offering into the basket, it is a big deal! But this Sunday...I looked over to see if they would remember whose turn it had been pre-reunion without too much of a scuffle and I see my baby girl writing out an envelope with her name, etc. and placing her own $ into the envelope. I winked at her and handed Drew my check and then turned away so no one would see me fighting back the tears. For her to take her own $ she earned herself & has been saving to shop and place part of that into the offering basket was such an honor for me to witness as a Mommy. This girl is always so giving, kind hearted, loving, compassionate...she makes me strive to be a better person so I may make her as proud as she makes me. I LOVE YOU MY SWEET BABY PRINCESS HALIEE! You are an amazing person and a perfect daughter.

I LOVE Summer!
Look at all the sweet Summer goodies I came home too! YAY! I LOVE fresh fruits, veggies, and flowers! I forgot to snap pics of my lilacs and lilies before we left and they were gone when we returned, but here are some new beauties!
Also, the silly kids acquired a new competition from the reunion...LEG WRESTLING. It is a Bowman tradition from way back & we had so much fun doing it at the reunion. Here are my kiddos trying it out last night!
Before we went to the Reunion we had a girls day with Ola! We went to lunch & shopped til' we dropped! The "Men" went golfing and we went shoppin'! Haliee had saved some $ from babysitting our fav. Grimmet girls and man it was burning a serious hole, lol! She got tons of stuff of course Ola helped a bit! :) Ahhh...she has def. been bitten by the preteen bug! Her Dad hated all her clothes, lol, I say choose your battles. I later got into trouble for letting her get "THOSE UGLY SHORTS THAT ARE WAY TOO SHORT" I didn't think they were too bad, I see my Dad coming out in full force in Hal "RUN HALIEE, RUN" Lol! She is such a good girl, the length was not her care in the least, just those wonderful neon graffiti's LOL! I am OLD! ;0) The fake nails are a riot, she got 2 sets, zebra & black & silver peace signs. She kept them on all of 12 hours, goofy kid. Nevertheless, we had a great day! Too much fun! Here is Haliee and all her booty! She was so proud of herself for buying almost all of it on her own. She now has saved up $40 more $ and is dying for another girls day!
