Daddy "LongLegs"

This is Haliee's new nickname for Hal! How appropriate & so cute! So funny to hear her whine it at him when she wants something, lol, the many ways you totally know she is MY daughter! It makes me laugh everytime though, such a cute name!

He is such a Great "Daddy LongLegs" too! Here is a pic from Haliee's bday campout, I know I need to post these, it has been forever, maybe this weekend! He lost a bet with Haliee and had to let her paint his fingernails, lol. We were camping a few days and had no polish remover, so he had to deal. It was hilarious, I would forget until he turned a log on the fire or scratched his face or something and his nails were blue! What a perfect Daddy he is. He and Haliee are so close, I am so thankful for my sweet husband and the relationship my kiddos have with him.

On a less enjoyable note: I am a sickie, I have had a cold the last few days and am just trying to stay afloat as the work/laundry/etc. piles up around me. I am so far feeling better this morning, so I think I am on the mend, but BLAH, I HATE being sick. I don't have time for it. Sorry for being mia and distant, I will be back to my norm. next week. Drew's 1st Football Practice!

Drew started football yesterday! I was so nervous. They looked so dang cute taking a knee, running backwards, stretching, jogging, learning how to hit and tackle. He will practice Mondays & Tuesdays, and have a scrimmage every Wednesday. My batteries died about 1/3 of the way through so I'll have to get some better pics at the 1st game, but I couldn't resist sharing him. He looks so big boy in all his pads! :0)

This has been sitting on my couch all week, I gave up asking him to go put it away, 15 min. later it was back or he was in it!

Tabba's lil' princess...

So some of our our bestest friends/neighbors also have a sister to our dog & our the dogs are just like our kids socially, they always are going to one another's houses, weird, but funny. Anyway...Hal put a doggie door into our fence so the dogs could go back and forth. Well, Sophie and Ellie love to use it as well to come to Tabba's even if Mommy says NO. A few nights ago Sophie had to go home & get her bath and ready for bed. Apparently she decided she was ready to come back to Tabba's...her Momma was busy getting Ellie out of the bath too and she escaped to try & get through the doggie door and back to Tabba's! She was screaming bloody murder as her Momma drug her back through the doggie door and into her jammies! A few minutes later, we received this pic mail on our phone from her side of the fence, ha! I LOVE this baby girl! LOL! Happy Weekend!

My Smooth Criminal!

Drew is totally addicted to Michael Jackson these past few weeks. He got the MJ CD & has been dancing like a fool! I had to share as it is hilarious! He said he'd only let me record him if we shot in Haliee's Room, I am not quite sure why, but whatever, lol! Don't mind her disheveled vanity, my girl is such a piggy!!! Dont'cha just LOVE Drewy in his Indiana Jones (Smooth Criminal) hat??? He asked me if I could "dye" it white for him, goof ball! I love my Sweet baby boy! OK WTHECK???????????????? I rotated it in my editer before I uploaded it here GGRRRRRR. Sorry, I hope it is still cute enough sideways :(

1st Day of School 2009

Phew, my life has been crazy busy the last few weeks, from the last days of summer vacation at the lake (pics to follow), to last minute school shopping odds & ends, church, bows, football, and family time, we have been beyond busy! The kiddos started school Tuesday and they are so happy! It has been weird and so quiet this week! It is bittersweet!

Miss. Haliee started middle school WAAHHHHHH!!!! My baby is a big girl now! Her campus is so beautiful! It is pretty cool, one of the 5th grade teachers we loved from last year Mr. Drake moved to the middle school & Haliee has him for "Homeroom" as well as 3 other classes! She was so excited & it made the transition so much less stressful for her! MAN, there were so many dang teenagers in those halls! I was so claustrophobic! I AM SO OLD!! :)

Drew started 3rd grade and is looking wayyyy to grown up! He got Haliee's 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Olin who we totally LOVE! I am so blessed to have such awesome teachers impacting my children, it makes all the difference in the world! YAY for Drewy! Here are some pics of the 1st day! Hal was appalled at Haliee's hot pink Justice Uggs! LOL! I told him to deal with it! She definitely has her own style agenda! I LOVE this little Miss. Priss! Haliee also starts school an hour and 15 minutes before Drew this year UGH for Mommy! After we took Haliee to school we came home & Drew requested English Muffin Sandwiches for breakfast, so of course I said yes! Here he is so excited for the 1st day! HUGS Tab
